This page describes how the hosted Trackline service handles information. It is a product disclosure, not legal advice.
What Trackline collects
- Account email, password hash, and optional display name if you register.
- Saved-event choices tied to your account.
- Search location when you enter a city/ZIP or allow location. Location is used to rank nearby events and is not stored on the server unless you save a home city on your profile.
- Standard request logs on the host (IP address, time, path) used for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
What Trackline does not do
- No advertising SDKs, no cross-app tracking, no sale of personal data.
- Event registration and payment happen on SCCA, NASA, or MotorsportReg — not in Trackline.
- The store apps are a viewer for this website. They do not run a local server or scrape third-party sites on your device.
Location
Location permission is optional. You can type a city or ZIP instead. Trackline uses location only to find motorsport events near you.
Your account
Sign in to delete your account (Settings / Delete account) and enter your password. That removes your Trackline user record and saved events. It does not cancel registrations on other sites.
